Sujit Choudhry is an expert and professor in constitutional law. He was a recipient of the Rhodes Scholarship and is currently a fellow with a variety of different prodigious organizations. His educational resume includes positions at the New York University School of Law and Berkeley (blogs.law.nyu.edu).
Sujit Choudhry’s most recent contribution on page is in Constitutional Democracies in Crisis?. Choudhry went into great detail explaining the meaning of a tweet from Eric Holder, the Attorney General for the Obama Administration.
“ABSOLUTE RED LINE: the firing of Bob Mueller or crippling special counsel’s office,” the tweet from the former AG read. “If removed or meaningfully tampered with, there must be mass, popular, peaceful support of both. There American people must be seen and heard- they will ultimately be determinative.”
The tweet initially reads like the former Attorney General is calling for civil unrest, but upon deeper examination it appears he is merely saying that the people will be the deciding factor in regards to the amount of power the President has. Specifically, the people will decide whether Donald Trump will be able to fire Bob Mueller or not.
Eric Holder isn’t only called for the left to voice their opinion. He specifically mentions that both sides must stand firm and show support.
Sujit Choudhry goes into even greater detail in his own chapter in Constitutional Democracies in Crisis? Choudhry doesn’t only explain his own opinion on the Holder tweet, but he also explains what he believes Holder meant by the tweet. Choudhry believes Holder’s tweet stems from Holder wanting the president to adhere to an unspoken self-enforcement of power. An example of this is term limit. Prior to World War 2, their were no official rules concerning the length of a presidential term. President Roosevelt was the first to break this unwritten rule. Choudhry explained that it isn’t illegal for a president to fire a special investigation that is investigating him, but it is an unwritten rule of sorts.
End Citizens United, which became an entity in order to stop a Supreme Court decision that involved allowing corporations to donate large, near limitless amounts of money to political candidates. This court decision took the voting power out of the hands of the average citizen and put it solely in the hands on rich corporations.
End Citizens United has a frequently updated list of political opposition that it calls the Big Money 20: a list of 20 GOP candidate that accept big money. The list currently includes Dean Heller, Paul Ryan, Duncan Hunt and many more incumbent Republicans.
One of the more recent people to be endorsed by End Citizens United is Liz Watson. She is running for the 9th district in Indiana. Like all of End Citizens United’s candidates, Liz doesn’t accept big money from big corporations. She relies on donations from individuals and simple grassroots organizations to find campaign funds. “Voters are fed up with the way Washington does business,” began Tiffany Muller, President of End Citizens United. “And they’re demanding reform.”
Tiffany Muller began her career in politics with a bang. She was the first openly gay politician to hold office in Kansas as a member of the Topeka City Council. In addition to being the President of End Citizens United, Tiffany also serves as Executive Director. Her position in local politics isn’t her only experience in politics of course. She has also served as chief of staff to a couple Congressmen. Her experience in politics is rounded out by her time spent as the Deputy Political Director at the Democratic Campaign Committee.

Professor Choudhry & His Thoughts on Modern Democracy
Sujit Choudhry is a scholar and professor who has been accredited internationally for his efforts. His expertise include constitutional law, non-violent solutions to constitutional issues, as well as equality and restoration for ethnically divided communities. Some of the topics he focuses on include semi-presidentialism, democratic politics, federalism, and minority/group basic humane rights.
Professor Sujit Choudhry has commented extensively on major political figures such as former Attorney General Eric Holder’s social media post. Choudhry states Holder’s comments are constitutional self-enforcement (medium.com). He says when constitutional rules are violated, the court does not always acknowledge the incidents as true violations. This major miscommunication leads to excessive problems among political parties. These situations create an atmosphere of hostility, something Professor Choudhry tries to eliminate. His goals to increase dialogue and peaceful communication between political communities, domestically as well as internationally
Choudhry speaks about Poland’s Constitutional Court and describes it as unorganized. He speaks on the initiation of new rules. He says they are being constituted to favor the government, rather than the general public. He describes them as “housekeeping matters.” He says objections to the rules are technical and highly detail-oriented.
Choudhry is a Professor of Law and holds an I. Michael Heyman title (blogs.law.nyu.edu). He attended the University of California and created the Center for Constitutional Transitions.
Choudhry has served as an advisor for international constitutions for over a decade. He works closely with stakeholders and experts in the field of memoranda and parliamentarians. He is a member of the United Nations Mediation Roster.
His global reach has extended from Yemen to South Africa. He has traveled extensively to formulate solutions amongst political parties. He is an author of a few books about constitutional design and divided societies. One of his priorities is to create a transition from violent democratic parties to peaceful democratic parties.
As a sound engineer, Clayton Hutson realizes that efficiency is key, and is literally his bread and butter. That is why he does everything in his power to deliver only the best sound to a rock and roll show. simply put, it is his job to make all of the well-known rock stars look good. He knows that one mistake and the solid reputation he has worked for years to craft would be damaged for a very, very long time.
Of course, one of the biggest drawbacks to Clayton Hutson’s career would be the impact of recessions on his employers. The last major recession was in 2008, and it was a very difficult time for both Clayton and for the firm he was working for. However, as Clayton will be quick to tell you, it was actually a huge blessing in disguise for him. You see, the last economic downturn was the impetus for Clayton Hutson to finally decide he was ready to start his own firm.
Clayton will actually be the first to tell you that he is not afraid of working long hours. that is one of the main reasons why is independent sound engineering firm has been so successful. Moreover, he has developed a habit of repeatedly checking his work to ensure that it is free from error. Naturally, he travels to every sound gig by bus or airplane, and with each job he will list every task that needs to be accomplished, and do so in as organized a fashion as possible.
Finally, One of the great things about Clayton’s philosophy lies in the fact that he believes in doing whatever it takes to succeed. For instance, Clayton would much rather work with someone with a less-than-perfect personality who believes in efficiency then someone who is friendly, but not very competent. That, my friends, is what sets him apart in the sound engineering business.
Sujit Choudhry is easily considered among the leading constitution legal experts and has been for years. Sujit taught constitutional law as a university professor. When the prior Attorney General, Eric Holder took extreme measures to defend Robert Mueller, Sujit Choudhry gave his in-depth report of his controversial post. Eric later stated in a tweet if Trump was to fire Mueller due to remarks about investigations into the Trump election that citizens should protest quietly about the matter. Eric Holder said it would be a constitutional red line to fire Mueller and something which required protest.
Sujit Choudhry said former general Eric was trying to make a point that had President Trump fired Meuller; Americans should protest. Eric Holder had made that statement to his Twitter followers. Holder wanted his followers to understand the importance of protesting government actions that aren’t correct. Constitutional laws are not an easy topic to talk about. They are very challenging and complex.
The United States Constitution controls the lives of Americans so much, people don’t know how they’re living under its control each and every single day. Sujit Choudhry makes knowledge about the process easy for anyone to understand. Sujit works hard making sure that the laws surrounding the constitution and what it affects, are understandable not only today but the future as well.
